Aitken College is an independent, co-education day school located in Greenvale, Victoria, Australia. It offers schooling education from Prep through to Year 12. Aitken College is a co-educational, independent school catering for students of all faiths and religious denominations in the northwest region of Melbourne.
Our objective
iAutomation has been successfully nominated in provided the lighting control system for the Junior School Year 3 – 6 and Common Facilities. With our state-of-the-art KNX lighting control system we have integrated an energy saving solution through the use of motion sensors and dimming functionality of lighting.
The issues encountered and how we overcame them
Minor issues incurred was incorporating new sensors (Steinel) for the first time. We overcame this with the assistance of Steinel support staff.
The value of the end product to the end client
The client and facilities officer, Nick, was very happy with the result and diligence of the team. Another positive aspect of the project is the strengthening of partnership between Electrical Contractor (MLH), wholesaler (Rexel Thomastown), and Supplier (Steinel)
