Brighton Homes Arena (Springfield Central Stadium) is the new headquarters of the Brisbane Lions. It hosted the 2022 AFLW Grand Final and will be used for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games, with the Modern Pentathlon to be staged at the venue.
Our Objective
The Philips Dynalite lighting control system has complete control of all stadium and function lighting within the venue and also complements the energy-efficient design of the stadium.
The issues encountered and how we overcame them
The Dynalite system for the different buildings on the site had to be inter linked to provide a site wide system. We used a combination of ethernet gateways and hard wired solution to make it cost effective and to improve the communication reliability. We worked closely with the contractor to ensure the wiring was done correctly, attending site throughout the project to provide guidance. The result was a smooth delivery of the project with a happy client.
The value of the end product to the end client
The fully integrated Dynalite control system not only provides a centrally located, computerised lighting control system but can also integrate seamlessly with third-party applications such as building management services and audio-visual equipment for the corporate spaces. We have installed the Philips Dynalite System Manager, a multi-user control system management and monitoring software tool, on the project server. It will provide users with full visibility of the lighting and energy management system status and performance, while enabling simple local or global system adjustments.
